Julian Thompson
Julian joined AXA Framlington as Head of the Emerging Markets equity team in December 2010. Having joined American Express Asset Management in 2000 as Head of Emerging Markets, Julian continued his role when American Express bought Threadneedle Asset Management in 2003. Prior to this he worked at Stewart Ivory from 1994 as an analyst before becoming a portfolio manager and number two within the emerging equities team. Julian has a BA in Classics and a PhD in classical literature from Cambridge University.
