Ian Spreadbury

Ian Spreadbury is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Fidelity Worldwide Investment Ltd (FIL). Ian is responsible for managing Money Builder Income Fund, Extra Income Fund, Sterling Bond Fund, Euro High Yield Fund amongst other funds. Mr. Spreadbury joined Fidelity in 1995 as Senior Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr Spreadbury worked at Legal & General from 1981 to 1995, first as an Assistant Actuary (Pensions) and then as an Underwriter (Pensions) before becoming a Fund Manager in 1985. He has a total of 23 years investment experience. He also worked as an Employee Benefit Consultant at Sedgwick Forbes from 1978 to 1981 and at Duncan C. Fraser from 1976 to 1978. Born in England in 1954, Mr Spreadbury received MSc - Mathematical Statistics from University of Sussex in 1976, he also received BSc - Pure & Applied Mathematics from University College of North Wales. He is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
