Dean Newman
After graduating from Durham University with a BA (Hons) Economics and Politics, Dean began his investment career at Legal and General in 1985, where he covered the UK equities markets before moving to Japanese bank, Sanwa, in 1991, where he was Head of UK Equities. Dean joined INVESCO (now Invesco Perpetual) in 1993 as part of the Global Emerging Markets Investment team and manages Invesco Perpetual's Institutional Global Emerging Markets mandates. Dean has been a driving force behind the group’s EMEA strategy for Global Emerging Markets and has many years experience of Latin American investment.
